The painting is a representation of modern wars. Due to a growing number of terrorist threats, big cities are often in a state of alert. The skyscraper in the background is a generic building representing all the big cities. In the central part of the painting, there are soldiers dressed in dark, gloomy uniforms. To create a sharp contrast, the artist has put these soldiers on soft, colourful pillows. Together with a banana, the soldiers are holding a flag with the heart symbol on it. Instead of a flag pole, we can see a red pencil that symbolizes art. The message here is that love and art will always prevail over hatred and wars. Behind the soldiers, we see Daffy Duck. He is holding flowers and a heart-shaped balloon with a marked target.
